Six years running, this unique foundation holds several camps and events to support those who desire to live an active lifestyle while managing their Type 1 diabetes. The camp teaches how to use technology and intuition to properly fuel during exercise. As a staff member, I assist with the planning, organizing, and execution of summer camps and annual fundraiser.

A non-profit organization with FEMA recognition and certification that was deployed during disaster recovery. We were trained in the distribution of donations and coordination with local and federal agencies to restore security to devastated communities. In the off season, we provided educational resources and materials, such as flood buckets, in efforts to prepare homes. Unfortunately the pandemic has left the future of this program in limbo.
